GIG ON THE GREEN, YATELEY
The primary vehicle by which the Yateley Sports CIC aims to raise money is in the staging of the annual Yateley music festival marketed as the Gig on the Green, Yateley. The first event took place on 2nd July 2011 and has since grown in reputation and success with the 2018 festival attracting crowds of around 8,000 people over the weekend. Taking place on Yateley Green, in the heart of the village, the event attracts families from both local and surrounding communities and features a highly talented lineup of leading tribute bands and local musical talent.
The 2023 Gig on the Green event will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June. This will be the 12th festival and will continue to follow the popular format of previous years so providing a weekend of music, food, drink and fun for our community to enjoy.
